San Jose, CA - SK Hynix (KRX: 000660) introduced its latest products at NVIDIA's GPU Technology Conference (GTC) 2024 in San Jose, California.

The company unveiled PCB01, a high-performance PCIe Gen 5 solid-state drive (SSD) optimized for AI-powered PCs and other memory solutions such as HBM3E, CXL, and GDDR7.

PCB01 boasts industry-leading sequential read and write speeds of 14 GB/s and 12 GB/s, respectively, allowing for the rapid loading of large language models (LLMs) in under one second.

The SSD also offers improved power efficiency and utilizes single-level cell (SLC) caching technology to enhance AI performance and general PC operations.

SK Hynix plans to launch two product versions by the end of 2024, targeting major technology companies and general consumers.

In addition to PCB01, SK Hynix showcased its 36 GB 12-layer HBM3E, the industry's first fifth-generation high bandwidth memory solution, which has entered volume production.

The company also presented its advancements in Compute Express Link (CXL) and GDDR7 memory technologies, with the latter doubling bandwidth and improving power efficiency by 40% compared to its predecessor.
