CEO Ryu Young-sang highlighted SK Telecom’s successful AI service “A.” and announced plans to develop it into the leading AI service in Korea, to expand to the global market.
Ryu also shared SK Telecom’s plans to expand into new business areas such as urban air mobility (UAM), autonomous driving, and robotics.
SK Telecom is already developing use cases for UAM services and plans to introduce various use cases in cooperation with local governments.
The company plans to create an autonomous driving solution package that combines its autonomous driving semiconductor chips, software technology from PhantomAI, and its experience in operating Nugu Auto, an automotive AI platform.
The company is collaborating with Swit, a global provider of work OS solutions, to integrate internal and external services.
SK Telecom aims to solve social problems by utilizing AI technologies and create a better world with AI.
The company collaborates with many social startups and other companies, including Phantom AI, SAPEON, Bespin Global, Moloco, Konan Technology, Swit, and Tuat.
