Seoul, South Korea—Taling, a South Korean adult education platform, reported revenue of KRW6.3 billion (US$4.5 million) in the first half of 2024.

This represents a 260% year-on-year increase.

Operating profit reached KRW600 million (US$432 thousand), quadrupling from the previous year.

The company's first-half revenue surpassed its full-year 2023 figures.

Growth was attributed to expansion into new categories and repackaging of existing offerings.

New areas include online fitness, beauty, and parenting education.

The company operates without a government education program subsidiary and employs approximately 25 staff members.

CEO of the company stated in its press release plans to increase market share amid industry restructuring.

This follows post-COVID normalization and interest rate increases.

However, no specific forward guidance was provided.
