Seoul, South Korea / Hannover, Germany - Hyundai Motor Company (005380. KS) and IVECO Group (IVG.MI) are set to debut their first joint electric commercial vehicle, the 'eMoovy,' at the IAA Transportation 2024 event in Hannover, Germany.

The eMoovy combines Hyundai's electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV) platform with IVECO's cargo compartment.

It features an 800V system for ultra-fast charging, offering a maximum range of 320 km (WLTP cycle) and the ability to add 100 km of range in 10 minutes.

The vehicle is equipped with Hyundai's power electric system and a smart battery management system, utilizing a 76.1 kWh battery.

It also includes vehicle-to-load functions and various advanced driver-assistance systems.

Ken Ramírez, Executive Vice President at Hyundai Motor Company, said the eMoovy aims to "advance EV mobility technology" and "transform the market."

Luca Sra, President of IVECO's Truck Business Unit, stated that the launch "represents a further step forward in our partnership" towards net zero carbon.

Established in 2022, the partnership has previously unveiled other eco-friendly commercial vehicles.

The companies are exploring electric heavy-duty truck solutions for European markets, aiming to accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility.

The IAA Transportation 2024 event runs from September 17 to 22 in Hannover, Germany.
