Seoul, South Korea - Naver D2SF, the startup accelerator of South Korean technology company Naver Corp., announced an investment in Clone Labs, an artificial intelligence startup developing predictive user models. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Clone Labs, led by Chief Executive Officer Min-chan Kim, develops software designed to automate the management of AI agents.

The company's core technology, referred to as a "User Model," learns an individual's computer usage patterns and workflows to predict and execute subsequent actions, reducing the frequency of manual inputs required to guide AI tools.

The software architecture is built on three layers: a Recording function that logs computer usage, a Memory system that stores and analyzes contextual data and user preferences, and a Prediction engine that executes anticipated tasks.

The system performs tasks automatically when predictive confidence is high and prompts for manual confirmation when confidence is low.

Clone Labs has launched two initial products, Clone Desktop and Clone Plugin, targeting developers and frequent users of AI agents, a group the company refers to as "AI Builders."

The startup's founding team, comprised of Seoul National University students, has published seven research papers on AI agents, including collaborative work with Stanford University and Carnegie Mellon University. Research areas include Computer-Use Agents, long-term memory functions, and privacy-preserving memory architectures.

Naver D2SF initially selected Clone Labs through its campus technology startup competition in the second half of 2025.

The investment follows a three-month incubation period that began in January 2026.
