Seoul, South Korea—In a calculated move to expand its entertainment portfolio, The Pinkfong Company is bringing YouTube sensation Hogi to Netflix screens worldwide. 

The 40-minute special "Pinkfong & Hogi Mini-Movie: The Tricky Three Cars" marks the character's first starring role, building upon a fanbase that exceeds 10 million YouTube subscribers.

The production values signal Pinkfong's serious artistic ambitions. 

Former Pixar Lead Layout Artist Shaun Kim supervised the project, infusing the animation with cinematic sophistication that elevates it beyond standard children's fare. 

The strategy has proven successful in South Korea, where the film maintained a top-10 position in Netflix's Kids Movies category for 50 days.

At its core, the narrative follows an introverted hero's journey through Wonderville, a setting already familiar to fans of the YouTube Originals series "Pinkfong Wonderstar." 

The November 3 release includes English and Korean versions, reflecting Pinkfong's global market approach.

"This special showcases Hogi in his first starring role and expands the beloved Pinkfong universe," notes Gemma Joo, Chief Business Officer. 

The simultaneous release of "Bebefinn Dance Time" and "Pinkfong Little Dino School" suggests a coordinated content strategy to strengthen the brand's streaming presence.
