NVIDIA integrates AI platforms with LG, Doosan

Nvidia signs agreements with South Korea's LG and Doosan to integrate AI computing, robotics software, and data center hardware systems.

Seoul, South Korea - NVIDIA Corp. announced hardware and software integration agreements with South Korean industrial conglomerates LG Group and Doosan Group on Tuesday. 

The arrangements focus on deploying Nvidia's artificial intelligence computing systems, robotics frameworks, and data center components across the two companies' operational divisions.

The implementations utilize Nvidia's DSX computing architecture and Isaac robotics platforms.

LG Electronics is using Nvidia's Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab software to simulate its CLoiD domestic robots. 

The company is also testing Nvidia's Isaac GR00T foundation model for integration into its robotics lines.

LG CNS, an IT services provider within LG Group, is embedding Nvidia's Cosmos model and Isaac frameworks into its proprietary PhysicalWorks platform. 

Component manufacturer LG Innotek is contracted to supply optical sensors compatible with Nvidia graphics processing unit architectures.

In data center infrastructure, LG Electronics is co-certifying cooling distribution units and cold plates for Nvidia's DSX systems. 

Telecommunications provider LG Uplus said it will construct a data center utilizing Nvidia GPUs. 

LG Energy Solution is implementing Nvidia's Battery Energy Storage System guidelines for 800-volt direct current applications.

In the automotive sector, LG Electronics is configuring its driver-assistance software for Nvidia's DRIVE Hyperion and DRIVE AGX hardware.

LG AI Research used Nvidia Blackwell GPUs, the NeMo framework, and TensorRT-LLM software to develop its EXAONE artificial intelligence model.

NVIDIA's agreement with Doosan Group covers industrial robotics and data center power generation.

Doosan Robotics is developing a robotic operating system using Nvidia's Cosmos models, Newton physics engine, and Jetson Thor hardware

The companies are building applications for industrial depalletizing and surface sanding, targeting dual-arm and humanoid machine platforms. 

Heavy machinery manufacturer Doosan Bobcat is installing these physical AI systems into its construction and agricultural equipment.

For power infrastructure, Doosan Enerbility is assessing the use of small modular reactors, gas turbines, and Doosan Fuel Cell hydrogen systems to supply electricity to AI data centers.

Doosan Corporation Electro-Materials BG will manufacture copper-clad laminates for printed circuit boards. 

The components are intended for AI accelerators and server mainboards operating on Nvidia's MGX modular reference architecture.
