The South Korean girl group – BLACKPINK – will continue its dominance.

YG Entertainment(KOSDAQ: 122870) announced that Lisa and Rose would debut Solo in 2021.

While the company had previously announced in June that its fellow member Jisoo would release her solo debut album, it will now be pushed back due to her filming for the drama Snowdrop.

Jennie has a Solo single, and It is time for Lisa and Rose.

The fan of BLACKPINK – also known as Blinks – has been waiting for the other members to come out with the solo album since Jennie started the work.

Jennie released her first solo album, “SOLO,” in November 2018. The “Solo” choreography unedited version has 191 million views on YouTube as of December 2020.

YG Entertainment revealed that the music video filming would begin soon. However, no other details have been made available. There is no official date for the release of the Solo by Rose and Lisa.

It is being noted that Rose’s Solo will reveal first, and Lisa’s Solo will follow shortly after.

One more thing…

The BLACKPINK’s debut song – Whistle – achieved 600 million views on YouTube as of 30th December 2020.

“Whistle” was the beginning of the BLACKPINK era since its debut.

“Whistle” topped the most famous music charts and remained in its No.1 position for 16 days. Furthermore, the song kept its No. 1 position on iTunes charts in 14 countries. And now the song achieved 600 million views.

BLACKPINK has seven songs with more than 600 million views on YouTube: “Ddu-Ddu-Ddu-Ddu” (1.4 billion views), “Kill This Love” (1.1 billion), “Boombaya” (900 million), “As If It’s Your Last” (900 million), “How You Like That” (700 million) and “Playing with Fire” (600 million).
