COMEUP Stars 2024: Global Startup Finals Draw Record 1.2K Teams

Seoul, South Korea - Korea Startup Forum has selected 50 startups for the final round of COMEUP Stars 2024, following a selection process that drew 1,208 applicants.

The finalist group comprises 30 Rookie League startups, 10 Runners League teams, and ten rising stars recommended by COMEUP House. 

Teams from 13 countries, including South Korea, the United States, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, India, and Turkey, will compete at the COEX in Seoul on December 11-12.

Of the selected finalists, 25 are Korean startups, and 15 are international companies. 

Selected Korean startups represent various sectors, including CUBIG in privacy-based synthetic data solutions, FractalFn Inc. in STO platforms, and ConnectYard in digital payroll services for foreigners. International selections feature U.S.-based Kurek Robot in custom robotics and Hong Kong's WealthRyse in AI wealth management.

The selection process involved 30 COMEUP House members, including representatives from KB Investment, Mashup Ventures, Oracle Venture Investment, and Kingsley Ventures.

"COMEUP Stars 2024 finalists are notably concentrated in cutting-edge industries leading global tech trends," said Han Sang-woo, Chairman of KSF and Advisory Committee Chairman of COMEUP 2024.

The top three teams from the Rookie League will secure spots at Viva Technology 2025 in France.
