Epsilon Telecommunications, a subsidiary of KT Corp, has partnered with KT Sat to provide satellite network services to its customers.

Epsilon’s customers will have access to KT Sat’s satellites, focusing on South and East Asia and its extensive global coverage.

Epsilon’s satellite service is powered by KT Sat and features Asia’s largest satellite teleport, connecting users worldwide for over 50 years.

Epsilon’s satellite solutions complement its existing offerings, which include cloud connectivity and software-defined wide-area networking.

The KT Sat service adds value to Epsilon’s global network fabric, which connects 300 data centers and leading cloud, Internet exchange, and network service providers worldwide.

Epsilon’s satellite service is designed to meet a broader range of customer needs, such as supporting mission-critical applications in remote locations and providing reliable connectivity for maritime services.

KT Sat operates five satellites in five locations in C-, Ku- and Ka-band frequencies.

Epsilon’s Points of Presence (PoPs) in South Korea, Germany, and Singapore are close to the five teleport locations to bring satellite traffic into its expanding network ecosystem.

Commenting on the partnership, Michel Robert, CEO of Epsilon Telecommunications, said, “Adding satellite services to our solution set helps us provide our customers with end-to-end connectivity on the ground, in the sky, and across the clouds. We’re always looking for new ways to expand our solutions portfolio and add value for our customers.”

Epsilon’s recent expansion into South Korea established three strategically located Points of Presence, providing customers with direct access to the country’s challenging but digitally advanced market.
