The SUV has ten airbags and advanced driver assistance systems, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist.

Hyundai has incorporated sustainable materials in the vehicle's construction, including recycled PET fabric and paint from recycled tire waste.

The vehicle's technology package includes a 12-inch cluster and 12-inch integrated monitor as part of the panoramic curved display, with an optional BOSE 14-speaker audio system supporting 5.1-channel surround sound.

European models will have a towing capacity of 2,500 kg, while North American variants can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

The company will begin sales in Korea and the United States in the first half of 2025, followed by European markets, as part of its strategy to offer 23 EV models by 2030.

Hyundai will offer the IONIQ 9 in 16 exterior colors, including new options such as Celadon Gray Matte, Ionosphere Green Pearl, and Cosmic Blue Pearl.

Detailed pricing and market-specific specifications will be announced closer to the launch dates in respective regions.
