Fountain Valley, CA—Hyundai Motor America announced on Tuesday that it has implemented payment integration for electric vehicle charging across multiple networks through its mobile application.

The updated MyHyundai with the Bluelink application now connects with IONNA, Tesla Supercharger, ChargePoint, and EVgo networks, allowing users to locate and pay for charging services without additional applications or physical payment cards.

A second feature, "plug and charge," initiates automatic payment processing when compatible vehicles connect to supported charging stations.

According to the company, the features are available for the 2025 IONIQ 5 and 2026 IONIQ 9 models.

After being activated through the application, the plug-and-charge function operates at IONNA, Tesla Supercharger, and select ChargePoint stations.

Hyundai said the update includes route planning functionality on the mobile application and vehicle infotainment systems.

"With the introduction of plug and charge and in-app-charging features, we are enabling our drivers to use the MyHyundai with Bluelink app or plug and charge to recharge their EVs," said Manish Mehrotra, vice president of digital business planning and connected operations at Hyundai Motor North America.

The company plans to expand compatibility to additional electric vehicle models and charging networks.
