Hyundai Motor Group Showcases Hydrogen Solutions at Industry Event

Seoul, South Korea - Hyundai Motor Group presented its hydrogen technology solutions and roadmap at H2 MEET 2024, South Korea's largest hydrogen industry exhibition, from September 25 to 27.

Hyundai displayed four hydrogen business scenarios:

• Energy Security: Showcased waste-to-hydrogen and plastic-to-hydrogen technologies, including Korea's first waste-to-hydrogen facility in Chungju.
• Port & Airport Decarbonization: Highlighted a fleet of 30 hydrogen-powered trucks deployed at the Port of Oakland, California, since last year.
• Industrial Applications: Introduced HTWO Logistics, a joint venture with Hyundai Glovis, starting operations at Hyundai's plant in Georgia, U.S.
• Hydrogen Society: Presented hydrogen applications, including ships, trams, forklifts, and generators.

The Group's exhibition, themed "Be a First Mover in Hydrogen," featured contributions from six affiliates, including Hyundai Motor Company and Hyundai Steel. 

It showcased technologies across the entire hydrogen value chain under the HTWO brand.
