Kia Corporation has unveiled the exterior and interior design of its first three-row electric flagship SUV, the Kia EV9, marking a significant step in the company’s transition to sustainable mobility solutions.
With its striking design and sophisticated elegance, the EV9 embodies Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy that fuses nature and modernity.
Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design Center, said, “The Kia EV9 breaks new ground and aims to redefine design, connectivity, usability, and environmental responsibility standards.
The EV9 offers customers a premium family SUV experience emphasizing comfort and innovative use of space, technology, and design for all occupants.
The exterior design showcases Kia’s “Bold for Nature” ideology, combining elements from nature and the material world.
The result is a rugged yet serene vehicle that sets a new standard for future electric SUV design.
The EV9’s signature “Digital Tiger Face” has a visionary, futuristic look, accentuated by the “Digital Pattern Lighting Grille” and distinctive vertical headlights.
Built on Kia’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV9’s interior focuses on space, comfort, and technology for all passengers.
The cabin offers lounge-style comfort in all three rows, with six- and seven-seat formats available.
The EV9 also features two 12.3-inch touchscreens, a 5-inch segment display, and various storage options.
The Kia EV9 will make its global digital debut at the end of March with the slogan “Here to reshape the way we move.”
