LG ARTCOOL AI Air: Smart Climate Control with Energy Savings

Seoul, South Korea—LG Electronics has released the ARTCOOL AI Air, a residential cooling and heating system incorporating artificial intelligence technologies.

The unit utilizes LG's AI Core-Tech to adapt to user preferences. Its AI Air mode adjusts airflow strength and direction based on room configuration and occupant positioning.

The system is compatible with the ThinQ app for remote operation and monitoring. 

The Sleep Timer+ function modifies temperature and airflow according to individual usage patterns.

The design features a black mirror glass finish with horizontal bars forming a grille at the lower edge. 

This grille structure creates airflow distribution of over 180 degrees when directed through the front outlet.

Energy management capabilities include AI kW Manager, which displays power consumption data and allows users to establish energy usage limits through the ThinQ app. 

Window Open Detection switches to energy-saving mode upon detecting sudden temperature changes. 

The Human Detecting Sensor activates energy-saving functions when rooms are unoccupied.
