LG Electronics Announces Major Reorganization, Creates 4 Solution Companies

Seoul, South Korea—LG Electronics announced a comprehensive restructuring of its business operations, establishing four renamed solution-focused companies effective December 1. Promotions will take effect on January 1.

The reorganization transforms the company's main business units into the Home Appliance Solution (HS) Company, Media Entertainment Solution (MS) Company, Vehicle Solution (VS) Company, and the newly created Eco Solution (ES) Company.

The company's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) division will be separated from the Home Appliance unit to form the standalone ES Company, reflecting its significance in LG's business-to-business (B2B) strategy.

The restructuring consolidates display-related operations, combining TV, monitor, and signage businesses under the MS Company to streamline platform-based services.

Executive appointments include Jung Pil-won as MEA Region Representative. 

At the same time, Kim Jung-ho, Kim Yoo-Seon, and Choi Jung-won were promoted to executive positions following their leadership of subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia, Poland, and Malaysia.
