LG Targets Global Smart Factory Market in B2B Push

Seoul, South Korea—LG Electronics (KRX: 066570) is significantly entering the global smart factory market as part of its B2B expansion strategy. 

The company recently established a Smart Factory Business Division and is showcasing its solutions at MODEX 2024 in Atlanta.

LG's smart factory offerings include production automation, AI-driven planning, and digital twin technology, which improve customers' manufacturing competitiveness. 

The company's B2B expansion is part of its strategy to reach KRW 100 trillion in revenue by 2030, with smart factories playing a significant role.

LG has created an intelligent production system that utilizes deep-learning robots and a digital twin solution, leveraging its manufacturing expertise and digital technologies. 

The company's factories in Changwon and Tennessee have been recognized as lighthouse factories by the World Economic Forum.

LG is working with partners to expand the smart factory ecosystem and plans to introduce a total factory offering system to provide customers with comprehensive solutions throughout the manufacturing process. 

The company aims to strengthen its position in the global smart factory market as part of its broader B2B growth strategy.
