LG unveils 4K Smart Cam Pro for use in healthcare centers.

LG Electronics (KRX: 066570) introduces its latest product, the Smart Cam Pro (model AN -VC22PR), a 4K video camera for hospitals and healthcare centers.

The camera, which features a compact and space-saving design, provides clear image quality with or without illumination and enables seamless video communication day or night.

The Smart Cam Pro features a 4K RGB primary camera and a 4K night vision camera, each offering ultra-high resolution images and 4x digital zoom.

The device also implements the HDR effect from LG, which adjusts color and contrast to make the subject easier to see even when backlit.

When used with a TV or patient room display, the Smart Cam Pro allows medical staff to conduct virtual rounds and assess whether patients need special assistance before they receive physical care.

The camera also features an integrated 4-way microphone system with echo cancelation and noise reduction and a manual privacy cover that can be slid over the primary lens.

In addition, the Smart Cam Pro uses the LG webOS platform, which allows for customization and future integration of new services.

The device also has a robust Internet of Things System-on-Chip (SoC) from Qualcomm Technologies, enabling a superior video experience and intensive edge AI applications.

The Smart Cam Pro will be unveiled at ISE 2023 from Jan. 31-Feb—3 in Barcelona, Spain.
