Seoul, South Korea—LG Electronics introduced its new residential air conditioner, the DUALCOOL AI Air, equipped with enhanced AI Core-Tech for customized climate control.

The system utilizes AI DUAL Inverter technology to detect ambient temperature and adjust the temperature, airflow direction, and speed settings accordingly.

A Human Detecting Sensor monitors user location and analyzes spatial patterns through the ThinQ application to optimize airflow distribution within a 5-meter detection range.

Once the desired temperature is achieved, the unit transitions between direct airflow for rapid temperature adjustment and Soft Air mode with indirect airflow.

The DUALCOOL AI Air features Sleep Timer+ functionality, which analyzes user preferences and sleep patterns to maintain optimal sleeping conditions through temperature control and noise reduction.

The system incorporates an AI kW Manager to monitor and control electricity consumption.

The Human Detection Sensor and Window Open Detection activate energy-saving modes when vacant spaces or when temperature fluctuations occur.

The air conditioner's All Cleaning mode, activated through the ThinQ application, executes maintenance procedures,s including condensed water generation, Freeze Cleaning for evaporator decontamination, and Auto Clean+ interior drying.

TÜV Rheinland testing verified that the unit's Plasmaster Ionizer++ eliminates up to 99.9 percent of adhering bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, in a 30-cubic-meter test environment.

The company has not released information regarding pricing or market availability.
