Las Vegas, NV - LG Electronics unveiled AI integration initiatives focusing on homes, vehicles, and commercial spaces at CES 2025.

The company introduced LG FURON, an AI agent combining generative AI with spatial sensing capabilities.

The system monitors health metrics, manages schedules, and controls environmental settings through real-time data analysis.

On the day of the premiere, LG announced a partnership with Microsoft to develop AI-based services across its products.

Through this partnership, LG plans to apply Microsoft's voice recognition technology to autonomous driving, home hubs, and AI.

Through this, LG is expected to recognize various intonations and colloquial expressions.

LG's vehicle AI system features biometric monitoring, route optimization, and video conferencing capabilities.

The technology detects driver stress levels through heart rate monitoring and adjusts cabin settings accordingly.

The company's television AI system analyzes viewing patterns and automatically adjusts audio settings, enhancing voice clarity by isolating dialogue from background noise.

In the commercial sector, LG launched the Smart Cottage, a modular home incorporating AI-controlled appliances and HVAC systems.

The company also introduced AI-powered factory solutions leveraging robotics technology.

The manufacturer expanded its IoT capabilities by acquiring Athom, enabling connectivity with devices from 170 global brands.

LG and Microsoft will jointly develop energy-efficient thermal management systems for AI data centers.

The initiatives follow LG's "Affectionate Intelligence" strategy, which delivers personalized experiences through AI integration across physical and virtual spaces.

Financial terms of the Microsoft partnership were not disclosed.
