LINE Expands Ad Services to Popular "Album" Feature in Japan

Tokyo, Japan - LINE Yahoo has expanded its advertising services within the LINE application, specifically targeting LINE's "Album" feature.

One-third of LINE users in Japan use this feature.

LINE's "Album" feature, popular for sharing photos of daily life and special events, has seen significant usage, especially among women and men, for reminiscing with friends, family, and colleagues.

This initiative, which will take effect on January 15, 2024, aims to expand its reach to a broad user base.

LINE's advertising platform, which has been operational since 2016, offers features such as LINE VOOM, LINE NEWS, LINE Manga, LINE Point Club, LINE Shopping, Talk List, and LINE Wallet.

To date, more than 72,000 advertising accounts have used this platform.
