NAVER D2SF Invests in GameAIfy: AI Revolutionizes Game Development

Seoul, South Korea - NAVER D2SF has invested in Anchor Node, a startup developing AI solutions for game production, the companies said on Tuesday.

Anchor Node's game product, GameAIfy, generates game artwork that includes images, motion, and backgrounds from character concepts.

The company claims the technology reduces development time from three years to under one year.

The startup reported cutting production costs by approximately 95% and achieving 1.25 million downloads across four games developed with intellectual property holders.

GameAIfy entered closed beta testing in February 2025. The solution includes artwork editing capabilities, sharing functions, and history management tools.

Anchor Node CEO Won Jae-ho said the company plans to add motion and non-player character generation features by the second quarter of 2025 before transitioning to open beta testing.

The startup intends to establish a French subsidiary by year-end to target European markets.

NAVER D2SF head Yang Sang-hwan cited Anchor Node's industry experience and AI optimization as reasons for the investment.

Anchor Node will showcase its technology at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco this month.
