Seoul, South Korea - Naver (KRX: 035420) has launched same-day and Sunday delivery services for its "Naver Arrival Guarantee" program.
The move aims to meet growing customer demand for faster delivery of essential goods, initially focusing on the Seoul metropolitan area before expanding to other regions next year.
The "Naver Arrival Guarantee" logistics solution, which will be introduced in 2022, will provide sales and logistics data to help sellers develop D2C strategies.
With the addition of same-day and Sunday delivery, sellers can be more flexible in meeting customers' diverse shipping needs by utilizing Naver's logistics fulfillment services.
Starting April 15, customers who order eligible products before 11 a.m. can receive their items the same day.
The service covers 50% of all "Naver Arrival Guarantee" products, focusing on fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and fashion categories.
If a guaranteed same-day delivery item fails to arrive on time, customers will receive 1,000 Naver Pay points as compensation.
Selected products can also be ordered on Saturdays for Sunday delivery, enabling seven-day delivery, including weekends and holidays.
To ease the financial burden on sellers, who often bear the cost of free returns and exchanges, Naver will support the usage fees for "Return Care," an insurance service that compensates sellers for return and exchange shipping costs.
This support will be available to "Naver Arrival Guarantee" sellers from May 22.
