Incheon, South Korea - Neubility, an autonomous robot service company, has partnered with food delivery app Yogiyo to launch a large-scale robot delivery service in Songdo, Incheon.

This marks the first urban robot delivery service operated by a delivery app in South Korea.

Neubility's autonomous robot "Neubie" will deliver food orders within a 1.2km radius of restaurants, focusing on areas with short distances and difficult rider recruitment.

The service promises delivery times under 30 minutes, handling one order at a time.

The robots, which received safety certification for outdoor operation in January, can navigate sidewalks at speeds up to 5.76 km/h, adjusting for pedestrians and obstacles.

Neubility claims to have reduced production costs using AI technology with cameras instead of expensive lidar sensors.

Neubility has completed over 10,000 deliveries across 22 locations, including urban areas, residential complexes, and campuses.

The company plans to expand nationwide service, deploying approximately 2,000 delivery robots.
