Rakuten Healthcare Launches AI-Driven 20-Nutrient Supplement Package

Tokyo, Japan—Rakuten Group announced on Tuesday that it has introduced a personalized supplement package containing 20 essential nutrients, developed using dietary data from its healthcare smartphone application.

The product, named "THE ONE," combines vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D, E, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper, selenium, molybdenum, niacin, pantothenic acid, manganese, and chromium into a single daily packet. 

The supplements are manufactured domestically by licensed manufacturers and packaged in GMP-certified facilities in Japan.

The new supplement package, priced at JPY 4,482, provides a 30-day supply and is available through Rakuten24, the company's direct retail store on its Rakuten marketplace platform.

Users can record their nutrient intake from the supplement through the Rakuten Healthcare app's meal management function, which can track 16 out of the 20 nutrients included in the product.

The Rakuten Healthcare app, which has accumulated over 1.8 million downloads since its October 2022 launch, offers four main functions: physical activity recording, health-building incentives with Rakuten Points, meal management, and health examination records.

The app tracks various metrics, including step count, calorie expenditure, body weight, and body fat percentage. 

Users can earn Rakuten Points through participation in exercise continuity and challenge events.
