Samsung Electronics has partnered with Microsoft to launch a new free-to-play gaming zone at Microsoft Experience Centers (MEC) in London and New York.

The collaboration builds on the companies' partnership in 2022 when Microsoft's Xbox joined the Samsung Gaming Hub, the first smart TV platform to integrate the Xbox app on smart TVs.

By subscribing to Xbox Game Pass, Samsung Gaming Hub users can stream over 100 high-quality games through the Xbox app.

In addition, with the introduction of the Gaming Zone, gamers can enjoy their favorite Xbox games on the Samsung Gaming Hub through multiple Samsung smart TVs and gaming monitors installed in the MEC.

The Gaming Zones in London and New York City feature three dedicated gaming areas with various Samsung gaming monitors.

These areas cater to both experienced gamers and those new to cloud gaming. They include;

  • Cloud Gaming Zone: This area offers 55-inch Neo QLED smart TVs for streaming games via the Samsung Gaming Hub. Gamers can instantly play popular games from Xbox and other top gaming partners without downloads, storage limits, or a console.
  • Living Room Zone: Showcasing three 98-inch Neo QLED 4K HDR smart TVs in London and one 85-inch Neo QLED 8K TV in New York.
  • Tournament Zone: Featuring 24-inch Odyssey G3 gaming monitors in London and 27-inch Odyssey G5 gaming monitors in New York, this zone allows gamers to play games on Xbox Game Pass or Xbox consoles.
  • The Samsung Gaming Hub, powered by Tizen, is an all-in-one discovery platform for streaming games. It connects hardware and software, offering thousands of games from Xbox, Amazon Luna, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, and Utomik, with Antstream Arcade and Blacknut coming in 2023. It also integrates Twitch, Spotify, and YouTube Gaming for an enhanced gaming experience.

Sangsook Han, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, expressed his excitement about working with Microsoft to bring the Samsung Gaming Hub experience to gamers worldwide.

Samsung is committed to attracting gamers by expanding partnerships and leveraging innovative technologies.

Samsung Electronics collaboration with partners like Microsoft is helping to create next-level gaming experiences by leveraging advanced smart TVs and monitors at Microsoft Experience Centers.
