Samsung Electronics (KRX: 005930) has announced updates to Bixby to improve the intelligent assistant and platform’s user experience, performance, and capabilities.

The new updates allow users to customize their experience, including Bixby Text Call, now available in English.

Users can customize the Bixby Text Call voice and wake-up phrase.

In addition, Bixby can better understand intent and process follow-up requests by understanding context and associating words previously used in an interaction.

Samsung has also expanded Bixby’s on-device AI support, allowing key commands to run wholly offline.

It expanded Bixby’s language offerings and capabilities with advanced AI-based voice dictation.

These updates are made possible through the powerful innovation of Samsung Galaxy devices.

Bixby updates will be delivered to Samsung Galaxy users via a software update in February.
