Seoul, South Korea—Samsung Electronics announced on Wednesday that it is expanding its partnership with Art Basel to include Art Basel Miami Beach and will launch quarterly curated digital art collections for its Frame TV subscribers.

The technology giant, serving as Art Basel's Official Visual Display partner, will debut its first collection, featuring more than 15 works from international galleries, ahead of the Miami Beach fair, which will run December 6-8, 2024.

The initiative will make contemporary artworks from Art Basel's exhibiting galleries available through Samsung's Art Store platform, accessible to owners of The Frame television, the company's lifestyle TV product that doubles as an art display.

Samsung will establish a dedicated Collectors Lounge at Art Basel Miami Beach from December 4-8, showcasing artworks on The Frame displays.

The company will also host industry panels focusing on women in art and technology and the future of digital art.

"Our collaboration with Samsung allows us to extend that reach like never before," said Noah Horowitz, CEO of Art Basel, noting the partnership's potential to broaden access to leading galleries and artists.

According to Samsung, the Frame TV, recently updated for 2024, features Pantone Validated ArtfulColor Certification and an anti-reflection matte display.
