Samsung Galaxy Update Brings AI Boost

Seoul, South Korea - Samsung Electronics (KRX: 005930) is democratizing mobile AI offerings with the new One UI 6.1 software update. 

Key features of the update will be available on older models, including the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series. 

The update is expected to begin rolling out at the end of March.

Samsung's goal for the Galaxy AI platform is to reach 100 million users by the end of the year. 

The Galaxy AI toolbox promises to improve photography, organization, and communication. 

Highlights include;

• Generative Edit: AI-powered photo editing to perfect shots by resizing, repositioning, or reorienting elements within the image.
• Advanced Search: Easily find content on your device with advanced search capabilities.
• Live translation: 13 real-time text and voice translation languages for more effortless conversations.

The company notes that Galaxy AI works with both on-device processing and cloud-based AI for optimal performance.
