Samsung Launches Cloud-Native VXT Platform for Signage Management

Seoul, South Korea - Samsung Electronics has officially launched its Visual eXperience Transformation (VXT) Platform, a comprehensive cloud-native content management solution (CMS). 

This platform integrates content and remote signage management into a single, secure platform, aiming for ease of use and accessibility for organizations managing digital displays.

Platform Features

  • Powerful cloud-native solution: An evolution of the existing MagicINFO™ software, VXT provides a cloud-native solution for seamless content creation and management. It is designed for various B2B displays, including LCD, LED signage, and The Wall.
  • Simplified device registration: The platform enables efficient device registration using a 6-digit pairing code for fast and secure setup.
  • Cross-industry versatility: The VXT suits various industries, including retail, hospitality, food and beverage, and corporate. It has been implemented by RedMedia to manage over 10,000 Samsung smart signage screens in Hy-Vee grocery stores and retail locations.

  • VXT CMS: Provides an intuitive interface for managing content, playlists, and schedules, along with robust security features.
  • VXT Canvas: A WYSIWYG-based tool with multiple templates, widgets, and partner content for effortless content creation.
  • VXT Players: Supports Tizen and Android-based players, managing multiple web elements on a single screen.

What Comes Next:

Samsung is planning a global launch event for the VXT platform at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Barcelona on January 31. 

The service will be available through various subscription plans, with initial online availability in the U.S. and a global rollout in 2024. A free 60-day trial is available to prospective users.
