Seoul, South Korea—Samsung Electronics will showcase its first Air-to-Water Heat Pump lineup for North American households at CES 2025.

The South Korean technology giant will release three products: the ClimateHub Mono with integrated water tank, the wall-mounted Hydro Unit Mono, and the EHS Mono R32 HT Quiet outdoor unit, which operates at noise levels as low as 35dB(A).

The indoor units feature a 7-inch AI Home control interface.

They are designed with slim profiles measuring 600mm and 350mm in depth for the ClimateHub Mono and Hydro Unit Mono, respectively, targeting installation flexibility in various residential settings.

According to the company, Samsung's heat pumps can maintain full heating performance in temperatures as low as -25°C and supply hot water up to 70°C in temperatures as low as -15°C.

The system includes AI Energy Mode, which Samsung says can reduce energy consumption by up to 17% when connected to SmartThings Energy.

The products, available in over 40 European countries since 2009, incorporate R32 refrigerant technology and feature components such as magnetic filters, three-way valves, and expansion vessels as standard equipment.

Hang Seok Choi, VP and Head of Samsung's Digital Appliances Business's Air Solution Business Team, cited increasing North American market demand as driving the expansion of the company's regional heat pump offerings.

The company plans to introduce the EHS Mono R32 HT Quiet and new Slim Fit EHS ClimateHub units to the North American market next year.
