Samsung Medison Unveils New Premium Ultrasound System at ISUOG Congress

Seoul, South Korea / Budapest, Hungary - Samsung Medison, an affiliate of Samsung Electronics, introduced its new premium ultrasound system for obstetrics and gynecology, HERA Z20, at the ISUOG World Congress 2024 in Budapest.

The HERA Z20 features enhanced AI diagnostic assistance, including Live ViewAssist™ for real-time diagnosis location and automated measurements. 

New features like Live Q-scan and A-Focus™ aim to improve image quality and reduce noise.

The system incorporates My HERA™, allowing users to customize settings, and includes EzStructure™ and EzFlow™ for one-touch optimal imaging. 

Ergonomic design improvements focus on user convenience.

Samsung Medison also launched theSUITE, a website compiling educational content for its ultrasound systems, to improve access for medical professionals globally.

The company emphasized its commitment to eco-friendly practices, reducing product volume and using recycled materials in packaging and system components.

Kyutae Yoo, President of Samsung Electronics' Health & Medical Equipment Business and CEO of Samsung Medison, stated that the company aims to increase global market share through the new product launch and synergy with AI reporting software company Sonio.

Samsung Medison plans to demonstrate the HERA Z20's capabilities through live scans at the congress, showcasing its real-time AI features and reporting functions.
