Seoul, South Korea - Samsung Electronics announced its One UI 7 beta program today.

The program introduces artificial intelligence capabilities and enhanced security features for Galaxy devices.

The official release is planned for the first quarter of 2025.

The South Korean technology company said the new interface will debut first on upcoming Galaxy S series devices.

Through its Knox Matrix system, it will focus on AI-powered personalization and multi-layered security measures.

Samsung's Knox Matrix will monitor devices through the Trust Chain.

This secure private blockchain enables users to check the security status across multiple Samsung devices, including Galaxy mobile devices, TVs, and home appliances, through a consolidated dashboard.

The company introduced Enhanced Data Protection, which allows users to transfer recovered private data to new devices by verifying the lock screen credentials of their previous devices.

It also implements passkey support for Samsung Account authentication across connected devices.

Maximum Restrictions features have been enhanced to allow users to block 2G service, prevent data interception on unsafe networks, and control automatic Wi-Fi reconnection.

The system also includes protections for Samsung Messages and Gallery, enabling users to remove location data from shared photos and block automatic attachment downloads.

Samsung introduced new theft protection measures, including Identity Check, which requires biometric authentication for security settings changes in unfamiliar locations and implements a one-hour security delay for unauthorized users.

The interface update incorporates AI-powered writing assistance tools with spelling and grammar checks, automatic bullet point formatting, and call transcription capabilities supporting 20 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, and Spanish.

A new notification system called Now Bar provides quick access to features like Interpreter, Music, Recording, and Stopwatch from the device's lock screen.

The camera interface has been redesigned with simplified Pro and Pro video modes and new zoom controls.

The One UI 7 beta program will launch on December 5th for Galaxy S24 series devices in Germany, India, South Korea, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States through the Samsung Members platform.

Samsung said the update will gradually roll out to other Galaxy devices following the initial release under the company's OS upgrade policy.
