Seoul, South Korea - Samsung Electronics announced plans to unveil new smart home appliances featuring integrated AI technology at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, introducing an expanded lineup of screen-equipped household devices under its "Screens Everywhere" vision.

The company will showcase new Bespoke refrigerators equipped with 9-inch touchscreens and washer-dryer combinations featuring 7-inch displays, all incorporating the company's "AI Home" solution that enables remote monitoring and control of connected appliances through the SmartThings platform.

The refrigerator models will serve as SmartThings hubs, eliminating the need for separate hub devices while enabling control of compatible smart home devices, including door locks, curtains, blinds, and lighting through the integrated display.

The Samsung AI Home interface includes a “Map View” feature that comprehensively overviews all connected devices.

Users can remotely turn devices on and off; future updates will allow them to control individual product modes and temperature settings remotely.

The new appliances integrate Samsung's Bixby voice assistant, supporting voice commands for content search and control, answering phone calls, and accessing product usage instructions.

Users can also access weather information through internet-connected apps and enjoy entertainment via YouTube and Spotify.

The system includes Voice ID technology that can distinguish between family members' voices, enabling personalized services such as individual schedule management, Google Photos access, and custom screen text size adjustments.

The refrigerators come pre-installed with Samsung TV Plus, offering direct access to video content through the integrated display.

The domestic market release of these new products is scheduled for the first half of 2025.

Samsung previously launched the Bespoke AI Family Hub featuring a 32-inch touchscreen and the Bespoke AI Combo washer-dryer with 7-inch and 4.3-inch displays in domestic and international markets.
