Seoul, South Korea—Samsung Electronics (005930. KS) announced its new flagship smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S25 series, focusing on artificial intelligence capabilities and enhanced hardware specifications.

The Galaxy S25 series comprises three models: S25 Ultra, S25+, and S25.

Each features a customized Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform processor that delivers a 40% improvement in NPU, 37% in CPU, and 30% in GPU performance compared to its predecessor.

Samsung's TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business, emphasized that the series represents the company's vision of an AI-integrated operating system that changes how users interact with their devices.

The top-tier S25 Ultra model features a 6.9-inch QHD+ display and introduces a new 50MP ultrawide camera, upgraded from the previous 12MP version.

The device maintains a 5,000mAh battery capacity and can be charged at 45W in approximately 30 minutes, achieving a 65% charge.

The S25+ has a 6.7-inch QHD+ display and a 4,900mAh battery, while the base S25 model has a 6.2-inch FHD+ display and a 4,000mAh battery.

Both models include a triple camera setup with a 50MP main sensor.

Samsung has enhanced the thermal management system with a 40% larger vapor chamber and improved thermal interface material to handle increased processing demands.

The company introduced new security features, including post-quantum cryptography and enhanced Knox Vault protection.

The series will receive seven generations of operating system upgrades and seven years of security updates.

At no additional cost, each device will include six months of Gemini Advanced service and 2TB of cloud storage.

Samsung also announced plans for a New Galaxy Club subscription model for device upgrades. Regional availability and pricing will be announced later.

Samsung did not disclose pricing information for the new series. The S25 Ultra will be available in four titanium color variants, while the S25+ and S25 will be available in Navy, Silver Shadow, Icy Blue, and Mint.
