Seoul, South Korea - Samsung Electronics announced today the release of its 2025 gaming monitor lineup, including three new models featuring advanced display technologies.

Samsung said the new Odyssey lineup comprises the Odyssey 3D, the Odyssey OLED G8, and the Odyssey G9.

The Odyssey 3D, or G90XF model, is a 27-inch monitor that delivers 3D gaming without special glasses.

It employs eye-tracking technology and a lenticular lens system to create 3D images that are accessible through the Reality Hub application.

The monitor operates at 4K resolution, has a 165Hz refresh rate, and responds in 1 ms. It supports AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible technologies.

Samsung is working with game developers Nexon and Neowiz to optimize their titles for 3D technology.

Nexon's "The First Berserker: Khazan" will launch on March 28, and Neowiz plans to release downloadable content for "Lies of P" this summer.

The Odyssey OLED G8, designated as the G81SF model, comes in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes.

Samsung claims the 27-inch version offers the highest pixel density for its size category at 166 pixels per inch and bills it as the first 4K monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate.

The OLED G8 includes quantum dot technology and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification.

It features a 0.03ms response time, and Samsung's OLED Safeguard+ has a cooling system that diffuses heat five times more effectively than standard components.

The 49-inch Odyssey G9 (G91F) features a curved ultrawide Dual QHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time.

It supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA DisplayHDR 600 specifications.

Samsung also introduced the ViewFinity S8 (S80UD), a 37-inch 4K monitor aimed at professionals.

According to Samsung, the screen is 34% larger than the previous model's and supports HDR10, which allows the display of one billion colors.

All new Odyssey models are available for pre-order starting today, Samsung said.
