Seoul, South Korea - The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced plans to establish its largest-ever exhibition pavilion at CES 2025, expanding its presence at the world's biggest consumer electronics show in Las Vegas.

The Seoul pavilion at the Eureka Park startup exhibition will span 1,040 square meters, marking a 50% increase from the previous year's space, the city government said in a statement.

At this year's CES 2025, 104 startups selected by the Seoul Metropolitan Government will showcase innovations using AI, medical, and lifestyle technologies.

What is particularly noteworthy is that 103 university student volunteers will support the participating startups.

It is not just the Seoul Metropolitan Government's sponsorship but also a demonstration of a community where citizens and startups work together.

The delegation includes startups from three Seoul districts, five startup support organizations, and eight universities, making it the largest contingent since Seoul's first CES participation in 2020.

Twenty-one startups from the Seoul pavilion are poised to receive the prestigious CES 2025 Innovation Awards, a testament to their outstanding technology, design, and innovation, presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA).

The Seoul Business Agency (SBA) held a launch ceremony for participating organizations and companies at Sogang University on November 29.

The ceremony guided exhibition operations and business matching opportunities.

"CES 2025 will be a crucial platform to showcase Seoul's and Korea's innovative technologies and startup ecosystem to the global market," said Hyun Woo Kim, CEO of the Seoul Business Agency.

The city authorities said in a press release that participating startups will receive comprehensive support, including booth installation, innovation award consulting, buyer matching, and PR support, to ensure a favorable environment for success.
