Las Vegas, NV—The Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seoul Business Agency (SBA) presented Seoul's vision at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, which took place in Las Vegas from January 5 to 8.
The SBA organized two exhibition areas: the "Seoul Tech Pavilion" in the main exhibition center and the "K-Startup Pavilion" in Eureka Park.
The Seoul Tech Pavilion concentrated on intelligent transportation and environmentally conscious urban initiatives, incorporating 3D videos and technology demonstrations.
The K-Startup Pavilion, co-organized with other South Korean entities, showcased technologies from 51 companies across five sectors: mobility, bio and healthcare, environmental, social, and governance (ESG), manufacturing, and data.
On January 5, the SBA held a "Vision Announcement Ceremony" at the Seoul Tech Pavilion, followed by a technology pitching session with 13 companies.
A networking forum for Korean and US investors and startups was held on January 6.
Fourteen participants from the K-Startup Pavilion were recognized with the CES 2023 Innovation Awards.
The SBA has signaled its intention to continue promoting Seoul's industries and technologies at future global events.
