Sejong, South Korea—The trade ministry announced on Wednesday that South Korea will establish its largest national pavilion at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said 445 companies and 36 institutions will participate in the integrated pavilion from January 7-10, compared with 443 companies and 32 institutions last year.

According to ministry data, the exhibition will take up 232,000 square meters at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Venetian Hotel and host 4,312 companies from 161 countries.

Major South Korean companies Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Hyundai Motor, and SK Group will join over 900 other Korean firms at the event, which is themed "Connect. Solve. Discover. Dive In."

NVIDIA Chief Executive Jensen Huang will deliver the opening keynote on artificial intelligence leadership on January 6, followed by speeches from executives of Panasonic Holdings Group, Delta Airlines, Volvo Group, and Accenture.

The ministry will host a pre-show seminar on January 6 with Morgan Stanley and the Consumer Technology Association to discuss U.S. market trends.

The next day, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Industrial Bank of Korea to support overseas market expansion.

The ministry said that Korean companies dominated the first round of the CES Innovation Awards, winning 129 out of 292 awards, ahead of the United States, which won 60; China, which won 16; and Japan, which won 15.

According to the data, artificial intelligence products accounted for 30.7% of innovation awards, while digital healthcare solutions represented 22%.

The ministry will host a forum on January 23 for award winners to share best practices and conduct online export consultations.
