Seoul, South Korea - Softbank Vision Fund-backed Yanolja Platform and Interpark Triple have merged to form Nol Universe, creating one of Asia's most extensive online travel and leisure platforms, the company announced on Friday.

The newly formed entity, headquartered in Pangyo, Seongnam City, will be jointly led by co-CEOs Bo-chan Bae from Yanolja Platform and Hwi-young Choi from Interpark Triple.

The merged company aims to compete with major Asian online travel agencies (OTAs), including China's Trip.com and Japan's Rakuten Travel, leveraging its extensive data infrastructure and AI-powered personalization technology.

Yanolja Group CEO Su-jin Lee said the company will focus on maximizing platform synergies and expanding services across domestic and international travel markets.

The platform will integrate services, including flights, accommodations, package tours, ticketing, entertainment, culture, and arts while expanding into community-based services, dining, and shopping experiences.
