Seoul, South Korea—Wemeet Mobility, the South Korean company behind the AI-powered mobility solution 'Roouty,' announced on Wednesday that it has secured KRW 20 billion ($15.05 million) in a Series B funding round.

The round was led by Hankook Precision Works, with Kiwoom Investment and Bass Investment participation.

Wemeet Mobility, which currently serves over 100 corporate clients, plans to use the funds to enhance its product development and strengthen its market position.

The company's technology focuses on route optimization and real-time data processing for logistics efficiency.

"We are striving to establish ourselves as a leading platform in the mobility sector by providing innovative services that reflect customer needs," a Wemeet Mobility representative stated.

The firm also operates 'Roouty Temperature Control,' a service supporting the safe transportation of temperature-sensitive cargo, and 'Jeju Today,' a same-day delivery service on Jeju Island utilizing Roouty's routing technology.

Hankook Precision Works expressed expectations for long-term business collaboration with Wemeet Mobility following the investment.
