Wemade has launched the Bored Ape Golf Club (BAGC) NFT collection on its NFT Is Life Evolution (NILE) platform, powered by DAO and focused on decentralized smart contract infrastructure.
The golf-themed NFT project, initially launched in 2022 by ALTAVA Group in partnership with Animoca Brands, The Sandbox, and Elite Apes, utilizes 110 Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFTs.
The BAGC attracted 40,000 concurrent users last year via pop-up stores in popular Korean department stores during its previous year's pre-sale period.
NILE is collaborating with BAGC to create 300 exclusive "golf ball" BAGC NEITH NFTs that will be available for sale starting May 4, 2023.
These mystery box NFTs will be divided into four classes, each offering different privileges, such as access to a golf country club and voxelized characters exclusive to the particular edition class.
Purchasing a BAGC NFT will unlock two NFTs: a BAGC NEITH Profile Picture (PFP) and a MERCH NFT, which includes various BAGC sporting goods.
In addition, users can claim their allotted merchandise starting in September 2023 and exchange BAGC NEITH PFPs for a certain amount of WEMIX after the contract date.
