Yanolja Cloud Solution Acquires India's InnKey

Seoul, South Korea - Yanolja, through its enterprise software unit Yanolja Cloud Solution (YCS), has acquired InnKey, an India-based hospitality software provider.

The acquisition is intended to expand Yanolja's software offerings for mid- to large-sized hotel groups and increase its market presence in regions such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

InnKey operates a platform that integrates multiple hotel management functions, including front-office operations, food and beverage management, finance, and customer experience tools, into a single system. 

The company provides software for more than 500 hotels in India and other emerging markets.

Its clients include Indian hotel groups such as The Fern, Pride, Orchid, Treat, and Accord.

Yanolja said the acquisition will allow YCS to integrate InnKey's platform with its existing software suite to serve properties ranging from small accommodations to large hotel chains. 

The company said it plans to combine InnKey's infrastructure with its own artificial intelligence and data systems to automate hotel operations, including reservations, facility management, and customer service.

Joonyoung Lee, head of the Yanolja Enterprise Solution Division, said the company is using AI to automate operational environments for travel operators. 

The stated goal of the automation is to reduce administrative tasks, allowing hotel staff to spend more time on direct customer service.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
