SK Telecom Revamps AI Service 'A.' with Enhanced Personal Assistant Features

Seoul, South Korea - SK Telecom (NYSE: SKM) has announced a major overhaul of its artificial intelligence (AI) service, 'A.' (A-DoT), transforming it into an AI personal assistant focused on daily convenience. 

The revamped app features improved natural conversation capabilities based on a large language model (LLM) and strengthened daily management functions through multi-agents. 

The user experience (UX) has been redesigned to enable flexible conversations with an LLM-based agent. 

A new 'Daily' feature integrates essential functions, including calendars, tasks, schedules, routines, and sleep management. 

Users can save and manage appointments and to-dos using voice commands, reducing the need for typing. 

The app now offers access to seven multi-LLM agents, including Perplexity, A.X, ChatGPT 3.5 turbo, ChatGPT 4o, Claude Haiku, Claude Opus, and Claude Sonnet. 

Users can select different LLM engines to compare responses for the same query. 

These features will be provided free of charge initially. Additional specialized agent services cover music, media, and stocks. 

Kim Yonghun, Vice President and Head of the AI Service Business Division at SK Telecom, stated, "The A. overhaul ensures a more natural and convenient conversational experience as if the users are interacting with a real personal assistant." 

The company plans to continue innovating its AI services to enhance customer convenience and quality of life. 

A. (A-DoT) is currently only available in Korean.
