Doha, Qatar - US-based Breshna, a no-code game development platform, has won the PITCH startup competition at Web Summit Qatar

The company beat out competitors, including IMAN (financial services) from Uzbekistan and Rhazes (healthcare solutions) from the UK.

"It's a blast," said Mariam Nusrat, founder and CEO of Breshna, commenting on the win.

Breshna aims to make game creation accessible to everyone by providing tools such as a game editor, an AI text-to-game engine, and a Web3 metaverse.

The company offers a suite of tools to its 175,000 users.

Nusrat emphasized the importance of visibility for startups and the collaborative spirit of the founder's journey.

Founded two years ago, Breshna has raised $2.5 million in funding from investors, including Paris Hilton and Randi Zuckerberg.

The PITCH competition judging panel included investment heavyweights such as Amin Matni (Jusour), Zach Coelius (Coelius Capital), Soumaya Ben Beya Dridje (Rasmal Ventures) and Rama Chakaki (Transform VC).

Web Summit Qatar attracted over 15,000 attendees in its inaugural edition, with a strong startup presence.
