LINE Launches AI-Generated Pet Avatar Feature for Dogs

Tokyo, Japan - LY Corporation has introduced "AI Pet," a feature in its LINE messaging app that creates AI-generated avatars of users' dogs. 

The service, available through the "LINE Profile Studio," transforms pet photos into 3D animated or retro-style images.

Users can upload 10-12 photos of their dog to receive 60 AI-generated visual images within 24 hours. 

The feature costs 340 LINE coins and requires LINE app version 14.15.1 or later.

The generated images can be set as LINE profile pictures or downloaded on other social media platforms. 

LINE plans to add a similar feature for cats shortly.

This marks LINE Profile Studio's first use of generative AI for animal-focused content. 

The company aims to expand its AI-powered profile customization options to enhance user self-expression and communication within the app.

LINE Yahoo Inc. stated it may change package contents or terminate the service without prior notice.
