Rakuten Books Launches Entertainment Media Platform "Oshi Raku"

Tokyo, Japan—Rakuten Group Inc.'s online bookstore, Rakuten Books, unveiled "Oshi Raku," a comprehensive entertainment media platform focused on fan-favorite content.

The new platform aims to provide news, interviews, and columns across various entertainment genres, including music, books, anime, movies, and TV dramas. 

It features two key functions: "Oshi Tag#" for following preferred content and "Everyone's Inner Voice" for reacting to articles and sharing on social media.

Oshi Raku addresses user concerns about keeping up with rapidly changing information and the difficulty of finding specific content amid a flood of updates. 

The platform allows users to purchase related products directly through Rakuten Books.

As its first serialized project, Oshi Raku is conducting interviews with members of the 16-member dance and vocal group THE RAMPAGE, coinciding with a 12-month book release project featuring the group's members.

Rakuten Books stated it will continue to support users' entertainment experiences through product sales and information dissemination on Oshi Raku.
