Seoul, South Korea- LG Electronics (066570. KS) has integrated Disney+ into its Automotive Content Platform (ACP) powered by webOS for select vehicles, expanding its in-car entertainment offerings.

The Disney+ app is now available on LG's ACP in South Korea, and a global rollout is planned.

The streaming service joins existing apps on the platform, including Netflix, YouTube, and TikTok.

LG's ACP, designed for in-vehicle infotainment, aims to provide passengers with a wide range of content during journeys.

The addition of Disney+ gives users access to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic content.

Eun Seok-hyun, president of LG Vehicle Component Solutions Company, stated, "Disney+ enriches and enlarges the lineup of premium content services accessible on LG's automotive content platform."

LG plans to continue introducing software solutions to enhance the in-car experience.

The company did not disclose specific vehicle models or timelines for the global rollout of Disney+ on its platform.

Access to Disney+ in vehicles will require a subscription.

The availability of apps on LG's ACP may vary by region and is subject to change or discontinuation.
